First Responders are all heroes to me. Many have saved me as an undeserving youth and as a fortunate adult. Some of those responders helped me to grow up. Some as a kid and some as mentors, teachers and classmates Sheriffs normally handle the counties in a state. Depending on the state those counties can be as big as a state! The Sheriff Badge has started out from the wild west. It was made from whatever metal was handy. Coins were used but Tin from Cans got you the "Tin Star". Points on Stars were anywhere from 5 (that may protect you magically from Indian arrows) up to 12. Now they are engraved with the County they work for and have a Star of 5 to 7 points.
For Bare Feet Sheriff Flag Cuff Sock starts with a Cuff made into an American Flag. It has 13 Red and White Stripes and a Navy Blue Canton with White 5 point Stars. The Heels and Toes are Navy Blue too. The Sheriff Badge is Gold and Yellow and has 6 Points with a Navy Circle with an Emblem in the Middle.
